‘Fortnite’ Chapter 3

‘Fortnite’ Chapter 3, Season 2 Trailer Has A Shocking New Item. Fortnite’s new season is called ‘Resistance’ which is quite timely given the invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces.

Epic Games will donate all Fortnite proceeds to humanitarian relief in Ukraine for the next two weeks. Hopefully, more developers and game publishers follow suit.

The new trailer is pretty exciting. We can see tanks, zeppelins, possibly planes, and the long-anticipated Battle Buses.

Doctor Strange joins the colorful cast of Battle Pass characters. Miles Morales’s uncle, the Prowler, is seemingly the season’s ‘secret’ skin.

When the writing, the game’s servers are still down. But pretty soon those should come back online and Chapter 3, Season 2 will commence.

Apart from the new Battle Pass, fresh challenges. Some big map changes, and all the fun stuff we just watched in that trailer.

The only thing that is so mysterious about the trailer is Dr. Sloan’s mysterious new device that wiped out all the builds across the map. This seems to indicate we’ll be getting a no-build LTM which, as a fairly mediocre builder, sounds fun to me. (I doubt they’ll take building out altogether).‘Fortnite’ Chapter 3, Season 2 Trailer Has A Shocking New Item

We’ll know soon enough. It looks like there’s lots more to the season including new weapons and items. Movement mechanics like parkour and climbing, and a number of map changes. Stay tuned!

Epic Games, Xbox to donate two weeks of Fortnite proceeds for Ukraine relief

The game developer said that they will donate all Fortnite proceeds between March 20, 2022, and April 3, 2022, for the relief operations to Ukraine. These proceeds will include ‘all real-money purchases in the game such as Fortnite Crew, gifted Battle Passes, and cosmetic packs such as the Voidlander Pack.

The company mentioned that all the retail store purchases of in-game cosmetics and V-Bucks cards will also be included if they are redeemed in-game during the mentioned time frame. The company also made a note that ‘using V-Bucks in Fortnite will not be included as those are not real-money purchases.

Similarly, Microsoft will also donate all its Fortnite proceeds during this time ‘so that we can get more aid to the people of Ukraine.’

Epic Games will give the funds to organizations including Direct Relief, United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), United Nations World Food Program (UNWFP), and UNHCR – The UN Refugee Agency and they will be utilized for providing emergency aid, including health support, food and clean water, essential supplies, legal aid, and shelter. More organizations will come to this list.

Further, the company added that it will provide these funds as quickly as possible. It will not wait for the actual funds to come in from its platform and payment partners. “As transactions are reported, we’ll log them and send the funds to the humanitarian relief organizations within days,” the company wrote in a post.
