The new feature WhatsApp is about to roll out for iOS to Android is now available, beginning with Samsung phones.  The iOS to Android conversation transfer function was introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event last month, but it was only accessible for the event’s new foldable devices at the time.WhatsApp, on the other hand, has rolled out the conversation history transfer option. This will allow you to migrate WhatsApp chat easily and will be available to several Samsung phones – with a few limitations. WhatsApp users may move their account information, profile photographs, personal conversations, group chats, prior messages, media, and settings from an iPhone to a Samsung device using this function. WhatsApp users are not able to transmit their call records or visible name. This will allow you to migrate WhatsApp chat easily.

Users must have WhatsApp iOS 2.21.160.17 or higher on their previous iPhone device.  Also, they should have WhatsApp Android 2.21.16.20 or higher on their new Samsung phone to use this functionality. WhatsApp users should have the same contact number as they had on their previous iPhone, and the Smartphone must be completely new. If it isn’t brand new, users will need to do a factory reset on their Samsung phones before they can begin transferring chats.

Most significantly, owners of Samsung devices will require a USB Type-C to Lightning connection to complete this transfer. Cable transmission also implies that migrated data does not move to cloud services, and WhatsApp does not have access to the data you have sent.
