Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 675, a mid-sized smartphone SoC with a few high-end capabilities. Perhaps most noteworthy is the fact that its brand new Kryo 460 structure is constructed around ARM’s Cortex-A76 cores, which are created for flagship apparatus and have not yet made their way to a Qualcomm chip. (The first important SoC using A76 is Huawei’s Kirin 980.)
The Snapdragon 675 includes two performance-focused cores in 2.0GHz along with six 1.78GHz cores made for electricity efficiency.
