Tweet editing function released for Twitter Blue members. Twitter recently tested the Twitter Blue Handle feature. All Twitter Blue users can now edit their tweets.

In addition to being able to edit Tweets, Twitter Blue users can also view the version history of each edited Tweet to see what has changed.

Capability to rework posted Tweets

Twitter has been testing it internally for months after announcing that the ability to edit posted Tweets was in the works. But we got our first look at the feature in action last week. When a Twitter Blue handle posted the first edited tweet.

This feature is available to all users in select regions with an active Twitter Blue subscription. Twitter Blue users can now edit posted tweets up to her 5 times. There’s also a version history under Edited Tweets, where viewers can see the unedited Tweet.

The editing feature was launched by Twitter after extensive testing the platform announced last month.

Twitter edited one of its tweets last month to demonstrate the functionality of its platform. Edited tweets were labeled “Recently edited” at the bottom of the post.

Additional features

In addition to being able to edit Tweets, Twitter Blue users can also view the version history of each edited Tweet to see what has changed.

This Tweet editing function is available for users in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The feature is rumored to roll out to other regions like the US in the future, but in regions like India, where Twitter Blue is not yet live, users cannot access tweet editing yet.

With the availability of this feature, Twitter finally caught up with other platforms such as Instagram. What you post can be edited after it’s published, but the version history is intact and viewers will see anything you tweet once unless you permanently delete it.
