On Friday White House made a statement regarding US Travel Ban.  International travelers who have both doses of vaccine against Covid-19 can enter the U.S. This will start on Nov. 8. Now with this, no ban on visitors from the European Union, UK, and other countries.

Last month The White House said it planned to lift the travel restrictions. These restrictions barred most non-U.S. citizens who had recently been in Europe, Brazil, South Africa, and elsewhere. These restrictions are by Trump early in the pandemic to slow the spread of Covid-19. Then further when Trump lose elections and Biden became the new president the restrictions were extended. The Biden administration had said visitors would have to be fully vaccinated against Covid to enter.

One more thing to add here is that inbound travelers, including U.S. citizens, still need proof of a negative Covid test in order to travel to the United States from abroad.

This pull-up of the restriction is of great help to airlines. The lifting of the ban is a relief for large airlines like Delta, United, and American. The airline industry has faced a lot of issues in this pandemic.
