Soon we will be getting some new and improved Valorant Competitive changes that will go into Valorant Episode 5 Act 1.
Currently, there are total of 8 ranks in Valorant which includes: Iron(1-3),Bronze(1-3),Silver(1-3), Gold(1-3), Platinum(1-3), Diamond(1-3), Immortal(1-3) and Radiant. All these are the original ranks. But we will also get a new addition.
Not only do these ranks but we also have 7 maps in play right now. This start with Ascent, Bind, Breeze, Fracture, Icebox, Haven, and Split. Now when we talk about Episode 5, we have a new map joining the rotation. There is a surprise twist in it.
Valorant Competitive changes
New Rank: Ascendant
At the start of the Episode’s first Act, we will come to a new rank, Ascendant. This rank will roll between Diamond and Immortal. This rank is now being added to kind of balance out the current standings of players. It also helps them climb a little faster.
Split out of rotation
We are all set to see the first look at the upcoming map Pearl. We are very excited about it. Apart from this new map, there is a surprise twist. In this next act, we will have the maps in rotation. From this we infer that out of all the maps in valorant some will be disabled for an act, and when the act changes the disabled will get enabled.
Since the beginning of the next episode on 22, we can no longer play Split on Unrated and Competitive.
